The Concord Museum welcomes Doris Kearns Goodwin as Honorary Chair of the public phase of Revolution: The Campaign for Concord Museum.
Goodwin, a world-renowned presidential Historian, Pulitzer Prize-winning author, and Concord resident, is known as “America’s historian-in-chief.”
“The Concord Museum, like the town, is a national treasure,” said Goodwin. “History at its best is about telling stories. I am glad to have been invited to help grow the Museum’s ability to share these stories with all visitors, and especially young people. Only by understanding the past will we be able to build a better future, and it’s that commitment to future generations that is at the heart of the Campaign for the Concord Museum.”
